John Stallworth was born July 15, 1952 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Attended Alabama A&M and set records for career receptions and single game receptions. First Alabama A&M player to participate in the Senior Bowl. Played 14 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. Twice named MVP of the Steelers and in 1982 he was named to their All Time Team. He holds virtually every Steeler pass reception record for single season and career. Played in eight league championship games and in four Super Bowls. The Steelers were Super Bowl Champions in all four: 1975, 1976, 1979 and 1980. He was elected to the NFL Hall of Fame at Canton, Ohio in 2002. An outstanding business and civic leader, he now resides in Brownsboro, Alabama.
