Vincent "Bo" Jackson was born November 30, 1962 in Bessemer, Alabama, where he was a three sport, All State performer at McAdory High School. Received an athletic scholarship to Auburn University in 1982. All SEC in 1982, ‘83, and "85. All American in 1983 and ‘85. In 1985 he received the highest honor in college football, the Heisman Trophy. Drafted by both the NFL and Major League Baseball, he signed to play baseball for the Kansas City Royals. In 1987 he also signed with the Los Angeles Raiders and became a two sport star. In 1989 he was the MVP for the Major League Baseball All Star game, and in 1990 he was a Pro Bowl selection in the NFL. An injury resulted in an early retirement from his outstanding professional career.
