Dennis Homan, born January 9, 1946, Homan graduated from Muscle Shoals High School in 1964 where he was a three-sport letterman in basketball, football and baseball. He received football scholarship to the University of Alabama where he lettered two years at split end. A consensus All American his senior year, Homan caught 54 passes for 820 yards and nine touchdowns. He holds the Tide record for most career touchdown receptions (18) and ranks high in several receiving records. He was a member of the 1965 National Championship squad. Homan was named MVP of South team in the 1968 Senior Bowl game. A first-round draft choice of the Dallas Cowboys in 1968, he spent three seasons with the Cowboys. He was a member of its Super Bowl V championship team. Homan also played for Kansas City Chiefs from 1971- 1972 and with Birmingham of the WFL from 1974-1975.
