Many Alabama Sports Hall of Famers to participate in
"World's Largest Shotgun Start"
BIRMINGHAM -Nearly 50 Alabama Sports Hall of Fame Inductees and Distinguished Sportsmen will be present at nine Robert Trent Jones Golf sites across the state for the 3rd Annual ASHOF Championship. On Monday, October 5th, players at each course will tee it up at 1:00pm for "The World's Largest Shotgun Start".
Opportunities are still available for golfers to register a team at each site. Listed below are locations where ASHOF Inductees and Distinguished Sportsmen will be present:

The event is a four-person best-ball team scramble. The number of teams per course is limited to 25. The low gross and low net winners from each course will play the Ross Bridge course in Birmingham on Monday, Oct. 19, to determine the 2009 ASHOF Team State Champions.
