Bill Streit was a three-sport letterman at Auburn University from 1904-1905 and at Washington & Lee from 1907-1908. He was one of six track managers on the U.S. Olympic Teams that went to Paris, Amsterdam, Los Angeles and Berlin between 1924 and 1936. He was also a member of the Executive Committee of the U.S. Olympic Team from 1948-1952. An accomplished official, he officiated 425 football games between 1920 and 1936, including the 1929 Rose Bowl. He was a member of the National Football Hall of Fame Honor Court. Streit also officiated track meets from 1914-1965.
