Steve Wallace was an offensive lineman for Auburn’s SEC Championship Team in 1983 and was All-SEC offensive tackle in 1985. He was a fourth round draft pick in the 1986 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. Playing 11 years with the 49ers, he was a Pro Bowl selection (1992) and a two-time All-Pro selection (1992 & 1994). He was named to the All-Rookie Team and the All-Madden Team four times. He was a part of three Super Bowl Championships with the 49ers (1988, 1989 & 1994). While playing for the 49ers, he was named Community Player of the Year for his work with the United Way. He played his final season with the Kansas City Chiefs before retiring in 1997.
